Instructor Accreditation,

Whether you are fully qualified or have no experience in Martial Arts:

NSS Kung-Fu can only maintain its excellence in the teaching of Traditional Kung-Fu through the quality of its instructors. The qualities NSS Kung-Fu requires of its instructors relate to their abilities in Chinese Martial Arts, their teaching skills and their personal attributes as individuals.

In order to become a NSS Kung-Fu Martial Arts instructor, an individual must undertake a three stage program. Firstly we undertake the appropriate police checks to ensure that there is nothing in the background of an instructor which would give NSS Kung-Fu cause for concern. NSS Kung-Fu requires its instructors to be of good character, and such checks are important, particularly when instructors are entrusted with the care of children. Secondly, we require that an instructor successfully undertakes an appropriate level in First Aid, Health & Safety, Child Protection and Teaching and Instructing courses. Thirdly, an individual is assessed by a Senior Instructor on his or her skills in both technical Chinese Martial Arts and the ability to teach.

An instructor who completes the program is issued with a photo identification card which they carry to indicate their status as an accredited instructor. Their accreditation will continue for so long as NSS Kung-Fu is satisfied that the instructor continues to adhere to the high standards required by NSS Kung-Fu.

NSS Kung-Fu Traditional Wu-Shu currently has the following positions available:

     Northern Shaolin style Kung-Fu, Instructors / Assistant Instructors for Kida and Adults

     Modern Wu-Shu

     San-Shou Instructor

     Yang Style Tai-Chi Instructor
